When I put this on, David quickly asked “is that my shirt?” I responded by showing him the pockets and saying “No, and it’s even more comfortable than your shirts….so there.”
He had a right to ask – I love wearing David’s shirts to sleep in and this Trovata dress takes the shirtdress to the next level with POCKETS. It was perfect for this past weekend when it was approximately 1,000,000 degrees and we were showing our friends all around Chapel Hill. I’m all for a dress that barely touches your body and this one is so light, airy, and breathable! I think it will be great as a layering piece for fall too.
We loved having Martha and Eric in town this past weekend. Eric and David were in the same med school class and Martha and I are both from Mississippi which means we pretty much know all of the exact same people. On Saturday, we went to Gear Street Garden for lunch and played Cards Against Humanity at Fullsteam, followed by a tour of 21 C and Torro for dinner. It was the perfect day and if you are ever in town I recommend all of those places! Hope your weekend was fabulous and I hope your Monday is short and productive! Thanks for reading!

I always love a good shirt dress with a red lip – so classic and you’re right, perfect for summer! Your bag is adorable! I love reading about your Triangle adventures! Durham has the best food scene and we love all of those places too (plus Mateo and the Parlour!) 🙂
