Good morning! I realize that the hanger strap was out in some of these pictures but that’s because the strap WAS out and in an attempt to keep it real – I’m saying “oh well.” These days I’m definitely the girl that has a tag still on and a strap out. The other day in the grocery store a lady came up to me and said “you’re tag is showing and I just wanted to let you know so you wouldn’t be embarrassed.” My immediate thought was “this lady is super sweet and it would take so much more than that to embarrass me.” I know that social media and being on your phone all the time gets a bad rap. BUT don’t y’all think that at the very least our generation is a little more “real” because of it? We share real time stuff and real time thoughts. 50 years ago they literally compared yards because “you never know what is going on behind closed doors” You couldn’t see what was happening behind the white picket fence… and while I think it’s absolutely true that you never know the full story, these days you DO see what’s going on behind closed doors. You see the funny / real / embarrassing / imperfect moments… Or if you don’t, you can just choose to unfollow that person. Cheers to that. So here’s to letting the tag show and sharing the imperfect.
