Sangria is a great summer drink. When I was in Mississippi last weekend I had this sangria and it was phenomenal. I haven’t made a pitcher because it just seems like a lot to keep in the fridge for two people, but in the mean time I wanted to come up with a single serving, and since it’s summer, I wanted it to be “skinny.” Cheers to summer!
add whatever fruit you have in the fridge – for me this was raspberries
and limes
and peaches. Then I added one cup of red wine, and a teaspoon of splenda
next I poured in 8 oz of tonic water
stir, add ice, and an orange slice
one serving of skinny sangria
olive oil, salt, pepper, balsamic vinegar, 400 degrees, and 40 minutes
since I was in a creative drink mood I made David an old fashioned
one teaspoon splenda, two dashes of bitters, a muddled maraschino cherry and orange slice, 2 oz whiskey and some water
