chambray popover dress // tan heels (c/o) no longer available but similar here // black frye wedges (c/o) Arco Avenue – they have so many good heels right now // sunglasses // bag (c/o) // watch (c/o) // bracelet (c/o) // David Yurman 1,2
This dress is sooooooo soft. It’s from Anthropologie but is made by a brand called cloth and stone. Cloth and Stone also makes this soft white button up. I must say they are two of the softest items in my closet. I wore this around Charleston the other weekend as well as to meet a friend for lunch at the mall last week. I have no doubt I’ll be pairing it with flat sandals or my slip on vans for even more comfortable outings.
In other news… I’m HOME! I’ve become SUCH a homebody over the last few years and I absolutely love being home. A week away from David and Nilla makes coming home that much better. Did y’all see Nilla jump into my arms last night on Snapchat? (LC_Steele) she’s a snuggle bunny . I flew in, David picked me up and dropped me off at Gigi’s house for us to head to the Junior League meeting.
Junior League is funny to me – as in – people have such strong opinions about it. I think everyone secretly associates Junior League with the Help. Or if you haven’t seen that movie – basically, a sorority on steroids where everyone just gossips. I think it’s like any other organization you join in life – it’s made up of people. If you focus on the negative of it, you’ll probably have a cynical outlook, and if you focus on the positive, it can be a really fun and uplifting thing to be a part of. This got way to deep way too fast but anyway. I’m glad I’m in the league because it’s how I’ve met some of my closet friends here 🙂
Hope y’all are having a great week and thank you so much for reading!
