This shirt is the softest. I’ve been wearing it almost more than I’d like to admit. In fact, I have it on as I’m writing this. They are so soft, stretchy, and jersey-ish, and pair great with vests and jackets. I know they’ll be a great basic in the spring too. The little mock turtleneck at the top is a fun detail. I got the white and black because I couldn’t decide which one I liked more, and they are $18!!! So ya know, treat yo self!
We had such a fun weekend with our friends Martha and Eric coming into town to stay with us. I’m hoping to get up to Charlottesville, VA at least one more time in the spring. AND get to Washington DC to see the Cherry blossoms! I’ve never seen them and think they would be in my version of the “eight wonders of the world” – right along with these tulip fields that are definitely on my bucket list to see.
Friday night we just relaxed at home since David had just gotten back from Birmingham. We still don’t know whether or not we are going to rent or buy and he went down to start the search! We actually put an offer in on a house which was probably the most exciting / scary thing I’ve ever done. But ended up passing on it because of our funky timeline. Still, I am hopeful we will find something cute that we can call home. It seems so wild that he’ll be done with residency in July. Then it’s 3 years of fellowship.
Saturday we went to Fullsteam brewery with Martha and Eric and admired all the cute dogs. Breweries and dogs are what Saturdays are made for. Then Saturday night Shepherd and Brendon hosted a dinner party that was incredible. It was great getting to relax and laugh with friends.
Hope your weekend was fabulous and thank you so much for reading! Let’s get Monday rolling – more coffee please!
