this glass blown ornament of an Oxford phone booth was the only one on our tree. My mom saves all of our ornaments for us to have when we move away but I forgot them at home. Still, I kind of liked our minimalistic tree for our first Christmas together, the only ornament symbolizing the town where we got married.
A big burlap bow that I wanted to leave up even when Christmas was over
Nilla was so funny when I took her out in the snow for the first time. She hated it and didn’t understand why white flakes were falling on her. She kept trying to dart back inside as fast as she could and slipping in the snow. She eventually warmed up to it eventually and we took her to Belhaven park.
I am still obsessed with this hat my mom knit me. She is talented and has even turned the back bedroom at home into her very own sewing room! Between that and Ama opting for an applique machine I am pretty excited about the possibilities and monograms to come.
David was off this Tuesday and my office was closed for ice as well. Getting to hang out all day made me just as happy as all the kids who didn’t have to go to school.
