Some people want to see the seven wonders of the world or go to the super bowl. Some really want to explore outer space, while others aspire to compete in the Olympics. As for me, I have always dreamed of going to New York Fashion Week.
So when Christina of The Quarter Life Closet and I talked about going, we jumped at the chance. I eagerly left Chapel Hill and met Christina in D.C., and then we headed into the city of lights for a long weekend.
To be honest, I didn’t know what to expect. All I knew is that it would be full of fashion, food, and friends.
To me, one of the best parts of the weekend was spending time with Christina, a friend I had not seen since leaving Mississippi. We had so much fun hanging out with Bryan, our fashion fairy godfather, and witnessing the inspiring street style everywhere we turned.
After spending three years in law school – and too much of that time spent on pinterest – it was exhilarating to be in the thick of the crème de la crème of fashion. This was truly an experience I will never forget.
I hope you enjoy a recap of the weekend (from my iPhone’s perspective)…
