Good morning! And happy Christmas Eve!! Here is a holiday look in case you are still thinking about what to wear to your family Christmas. This scarf has been around my neck every day since I bought it. It’s just so cozy and Christmas-y! It also makes me realize that I don’t have any kelly green in my closet and I definitely want to add some.
It’s been so fun being back in Mississippi for Christmas. David drove down from North Carolina with Nilla in toe on Sunday. Yesterday we saw a movie with his parents and then I met my cousin sara for some champagne at a new wine bar in Jackson. Afterwards, David’s parents and I met at Walkers – one of my all time favorite restaurants – for dinner and then I went to Lindsey Brown’s house to see her!
We were planning to head to Memphis today to see David’s sister Laura, her husband Richie and her cute kids but they have gotten the flu 🙁 BUMMER… We are all sad about it but are going to facetime tomorrow morning and hopefully David and I can swing by on our way back to North Carolina. In any event it will be a great Christmas with family! I’m really happy to be reunited with David … almost as happy as I was to see NILLA! haha
It’s been such a relaxing morning sipping coffee while looking through Christmas cards. And now I’m about to wrap some last minute gifts 🙂 Have a wonderful and happy Christmas Eve spent with loved ones 🙂 Here are some of my favorite Christmas card quotes:
“And the Angel said to them, “fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people.” Luke 2:10
“When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, ‘Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.’ So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger.” Luke 2:15-16
“And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.” John 1:14
“The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.” Psalm 126:3
“Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever! Amen.” Ephesians 3:20-21
