Decorating can be so hard. Picking out a new top for $30 isn’t really a huge deal but picking out a coffee table and rugs? Ummmmmm big deal! It’s not like I’m going to have a different one tomorrow or maybe even next year. Yes, when it comes to interiors, purchases feel more like a tatoo than a shopping spree. And I’ve always feared needles. My girlfriend Christina actually just text me a picture of a rug she bought recently (calf-hair, spotted, fab) and said she didn’t want to have any “rug-rets.” hahaha So well put!
I wanted to share two pieces I’ve added recently (which in Interior time means within the last 6 months) that I have absolutely LOVED. This coffee table and this outdoor rug – both from ATG. I actually bought a different coffee table and hauled it in all by myself (*gold star award*) but found that a mirrored bottom shelf can be a pet owners worst nightmare. Enter: this marble top gem. It shows nothing, is so practical and I am absolutely in love with the look the marble top adds to the room.
With the temps back up and the return of patios I knew our outdoor space needed a bit of a facelift too… (especially because you can see the rug from our den AND our bedroom.) I searched the biggest store in the world: the Internet, and fell in love with the pattern of this one from ATG. It’s such a pretty pattern and is a little bit of Carolina blue 🙂 David and I have loved sitting outside on the warm evenings and drinking moscow mules made with mint from our herb garden. And of course we use the coffee table 1,456 times a day – from coffee in the mornings, to lounging around with friends, and we actually eat most of our dinners there too.
After loving these two items from ATG so much I definitely consider them my new “go-to” for home decor. They have such pretty things that are affordable too! ATG FTW 🙂

I love that coffee table! We just bought a new house so we’re looking at new furniture… I might have to check this out! 🙂

Lauren, I love it all but that carpet on the deck is amazing. IF you’re ever in the New York City area, I’d love to grab coffee or drinks.
