Well – it’s here. Holiday season. I feel like I’ve held out as long as I can. I know people always get upset: “It’s not even Thanksgiving yet!?” but last year I definitely tried the “if you can’t beat’em, join’em” approach to early holiday cheer and I must say… having a longer time of “the spirit of Christmas” is really fun. I like Christmas as a season versus thinking of it as a day.
This long line blazer has been a favorite lately because it goes with everything and is fall-ish, even if the weather is not. And it’s so lightweight that it can be worn in the afternoons when it warms up. This fall has been long and great and I am thankful.
David and I are going to Nashville this weekend to see his Sister, her husband, and their three kids. It’s been too long! I need to stock up on my favorite holiday songs to really get in the Christmas mood. Like Mariah (classic) and Carol of the bells. The home alone soundtrack is also perfect and brings back great memories of being a kid at Christmas!
Hope you have a happy hump day and thanks so much for reading 🙂

Have fun in Nashville!
I love this! The color are go together so perfectly. 🙂

I love your outlook…I LOVE Christmas (and listen to Christmas music all year long) and wish more people saw it as a season and spirit as opposed to a day. And, of course, I love your outfit too…especially the purse!
