The weather in New York these past few days has been nothing short of magical. Every day the temps have hovered around 70 degrees in the morning with crystal blue skies and barely reached above 80 by mid afternoon. Translation: we haven’t been sweating too much and have even caught a slight chill when the breeze blows. It’s been heavenly and a perfectly refreshing break from the humidity in North Carolina.
Hopefully we are on the brink of fall and the temps will keep dropping. Changing seasons always bring a bit of new inspiration – especially the beginning of fall. The pumpkin spice latte’s, the back to school supplies, the changing leaves. Yes, I’m basic and I’ve accepted it.
I can’t wait to start layering! Run don’t walk to get this scarf from Zara. Zara always comes through in the blanket scarf department and this one is perfection. It’s the perfect deep camel color to add to neutral layers when the temps drop. I wore it draped like this when we went to Lauduree yesterday morning for breakfast. That place is like something out of a french fairy tale. Did you see it on snap (LC_Steele)? The front room displays perfectly made macarons in every shade of the rainbow and their velvet tufted couches, orate draperies in Tiffany blue, and patio covered with greenery made for a special brunch setting with Gigi, Bryan, and my mom and sis.
Hope you are having a lovely week and I can’t wait to share more of our trip with you on this buh-log. Happy Friday eve and thank you so much for reading!
