Good morning! Hope you had a wonderful weekend!! I felt (and still feel) SO productive for ordering my Christmas cards yesterday! Good grief it was hard to push that order button. There are just so many choices! I miss the 90s when people would just walk into a Walgreens or local photography shop, choose one of the 5 designs, and hit print. Ours was kind of a disaster this year. From David getting off work SO late the night before I left for Deer Valley (leaving no natural light), to the mpix template only having a 5×7 instead of 4×6 for our already blurry picture, this year was not our “best shot.” Oh well – you live, you learn, and next year I’ll try to start sooner. I’m telling myself that at least my card will make everyone else feel great about their own 🙂 That.. and it’s just a Christmas card.
We are in Deer Valley and loving all the scenery! The mountains are breathtaking and the snow is so pretty! We skied all day Saturday, then Sunday visited the Temple Square
in Salt Lake City. I really wanted to see Rachel Parcell
(one of my favorite bloggers) there – but alas.. we did not. After our tour we picked my sister Jenny and her husband Will up from the airport before coming back to Deer Valley for a seriously delicious sea food buffet at the lodge. Then it was football watching and lounge time in the den. Between the fireplaces everywhere, hot chocolate, christmas lights, wood burning smell in the air, and family all together – it feels like Christmas and I love it 🙂
Now on to this bag. These totes have been popular for a while and I can’t help but notice the quality and price of each one I see. You know.. to make sure I walked away with a winner. I have been SO pumped every time because this one is 1/3 the price of Madewells and J.Crews and I like this leather better. Plus it’s reversible so really it’s two bags in one. Usually I can’t wear Urban Outfitters – that “boho cool girl” look would look better on Nilla than me. But in this case my vote is definitely for Urban Outfitters version of this tote.
Thanks so much for checking in today and have a great start to your week!
