There was a holiday party on Friday night at one of David’s fellow resident’s houses. I didn’t really know what to wear, but wanted to be festive of course and comfortable. I ended up wearing a combination of black and fur and loved it. Fur is so fun to wear because it can be casual (think a fur vest with jeans) or dressy (think fur wrap over a wedding dress) and it’s so soft and comfortable. Even though it’s not “cold” here yet – I’m still piling on the layered fur. I mean, it’s not like it’s a fur coat. A classic black dress with a little bit of fur can get you through any holiday party or event. Boom done.
David and I are heading up to Winston-Salem today ( we decided to do something different from the Old Edwards Inn since it is pretty far and that’s where we went last year) I’m a little sad about not going to that spa, but also really excited about this impromptu trip – there will be food, and there will be wineries. Hip Hip Hooray. I’ll be sharing our trip via snapchat (LC_Steele) and I can’t wait to see how the town is decorated for Christmas! Bring on the Egg nog and Christmas tunes…
Have a wonderful start to your week and thank you so much for reading!
