When David first matched at UNC – a place I had never even visted… One of the first things I came across when I googled: “Chapel Hill, UNC” was their tag line “kick up your heels.” “I can get with that,” I thought. I mean, an entire town that embraces the celebration of life by jumping up and clicking your heels together.. #yes. #letsdothis. Of course I also soon discovered the beautiful color known as Duke blue and said “ooooo that’s really pretty too.” David quickly informed me that I wasn’t allowed to like both (even though I still do…) The horror!!!
It’s one of the most intense rivalries in the country – right up there with Mississippi State and Ole Miss. haha Thank goodness sports aren’t my thing – some people get SOOOO into the rivalry. I’ve always thought to myself – ummmmm… they are both SEC schools in Mississippi… an hour and 45 minutes a part. I love watching the snapchats of UNC and Duke and seeing the shenanigans of the younger childrens.. haha. Even seeing my across the street neighbors with their backpack life brings back such great memories of living in a sorority house and having all my friends around all the time. Is it weird that I snapchat those college kids across the street sometimes? (Snapchat: LC_Steele) Maybe…. the answer is definitely maybe.
This top reminds me Carolina blue – maybe it’s not the EXACT shade, but it’s definitely what I had in mind when I was picking it out. This top is literally the PERFECT fit – as in, can wear it with jeans, leggings, etc.. it hits at that perfect spot on your hips – you know what I’m talking about. Like, right below your butt BUT it’s not TOO long…
This town has been the perfect fit on us. Not too big, not too small, with crazy intense seasons and 1,000 things to do nearby. I truly love it here. Kick up your heels 🙂
