Good morning! I seriously can not believe it’s November and I still don’t have rugs in my house! I’m using Christmas as a deadline for myself to make some choices! Even though my rooms are in the midst of trasnsformations, my hair care routine has been the same for the past 6 months so I wanted to share my favorite products.
- Drybar Dry Shampoo – I first discovered DryBar dry shampoo when I visited the Mackenzie-Childs headquarters in Aurora New York. We had welcome packages from DryBar in our rooms and this dry shampoo was part of the package. Every blogger there immediately raved how much they loved it, and after trying it I can see why: it works, and it smells amazing. Today I’ve teamed up with DryBar and my friend Heather of My Life Well Loved and I am SO EXCITED to give one of Y’ALL a YEARS SUPPLY of DryBar Dry Shampoo. She and I will be announcing how to enter the giveaway on Instagram tonight at 8!
2. This DryBar Hairdryer – I’ve tried SO MANY hair dryers through the years. They are one of the things that sometimes “goes missing” when I travel or move. That being said I plan on holding on to this one forever. I love how fast it dries my hair but it doesn’t damage it with heat. DryBar actually started in L.A. with a woman who was REALLY good at hair. She only promotes things she would actually use and because of that I’ve fallen in love with so many of their products.
3. Big Sexy Hair Powder – this. is. the. stuff. I put a little bit of powder at my roots and just move it around a bit and voila. Instant volume. I love it so much I’ll rebuy it if I’m out of town and forgot to pack it. It’s a bit pricey but worth every cent. Plus it lasts for a while. I really love Indie’s version of this texture powder as well and get that off of Amazon. The big sexy hair powder can be found at your local CVS, Walgreens, or target which is great when you’re in a pinch.
4. Drybar Curling wand – real confessions here, I’m a southern sorority girl who loves big hair. And because I was on the dance team in college, I’ve really seen it all – the wands, the curling irons, curling your hair with a straightener, every kind of extension under the sun. I know all the tricks. haha Wands are GREAT because there’s no risk for the unsightly “crimps” even the most experienced girl can get with a curling iron or straightener. I love this one and the curls stay for days!
