This week felt like it flew by since I was in Birmingham house hunting Monday and then got back to Chapel Hill late Tuesday night, and had a photoshoot all day Wednesday for Unscripted Hotels. It was definitely an off-kilter kind of week and I’m glad the weekend is here. I’m SO EXCITED about my parents coming to visit this weekend on their way up to DC – it’s been too long since I’ve seen them and I just can’t wait to hang out. Plus my mom is going to help me start the packing process since David is studying for step 3. He’ll take that March 16th and then boards at the end of residency.
Everyone talks about how these years “fly by” but to be honest, I’ve felt like they have been as slow as molasses moves. When I look back to our first year here, it seems like it was 20 years ago. That’s not to say that these years haven’t been wonderful and fun. And in fact I’m glad they didn’t “fly” by. But they didn’t pass in the blink of an eye, that’s for sure.
Tonight David and I are going out to dinner and tomorrow my parents arrive! What are you up to this weekend? Thank you so much for reading and cheers to Friday 🙂

Love that embroidered top! Have a great weekend!
