Welcome to the weekend and thank goodness we’re here. Do you ever have those times where you just want to shut off everything, call nobody back, and be at home? I think everyone who knows me would say I’m an extravert but man do I love home. I love how relaxing it is – rivaling a spa – I love that I know where everything is. I love that I can make it look just how I like it. I like the back deck with my outdoor string lights, adorandak rocking chairs and bimini ring game. This is definitely one of those weekends where I just want to slow life down a bit and hang out with David.
I started watching The Season which is about Ole Miss football last night because I don’t want to go through another season without knowing who these people are. Similar to social media, I don’t think SEC football (or my husband’s love of it) is going anywhere anytime soon. And while I am not into football and just like the social element of the games – we live in North Carolina and I doubt we will make it to any… so there goes that social element. And welp, if ya can’t beat’em, join ’em. Does MSU have a “The Season” because it’s actually really good and entertaining. If any wives/girlfriends out there feel my pain I guarantee watching that show will help you learn the players.
David and I are going to Fridays on the Front Porch tonight and then chilling out max ‘n relaxin’ all cool this weekend. His LAST THIRTY HOUR SHIFT if Sunday and I coudn’t be happier. I’m sooooo over those. (as if I were the one who had to work them haha). Thank you so much for reading and have a wonderful weekend!
