Cheers to the weekend and the unofficial start of summer! I’ve been LOVING using our patio ever since we did a little spruce up and I’m so glad it’s ready for the summer season! We are watching our friends’ plants this week while they go to Napa and I really hope I don’t kill them! I’ll be drinking wine there, they’ll be drinking wine in Napa…. same thing right? haha
I’m so excited about this weekend because David is actually off and not on nights anymore. I’ve been so lonely at night with just Nilla and me. I’ve watched My Fair Lady, had plenty of mint tea (my new fave) and caught up on laundry – exciting I know. But it actually does feel really good going into the weekend with a clean house. My friend Amy cleans on Thursdays and I think that’s genius. After he has been on nights all week this weekend is going to feel EXTRA special. We are kicking it off by going on a date night at Mateo in Durham and then hopefully hanging by a pool the rest of the weekend
