What a week packed with friend hang out time. That jewelry company is seriously amazing. They cast a lot of different materials but my favorites are the wedding dress pieces. They can take a piece from your mom’s dress or your own dress or your grandmothers veil etc.. and dip it in gold, silver, or rose gold to make a hair piece, bracelet, ring, you name it.
It’s particularly special to me since I wore my grandmother’s dress for my own wedding and was the 7th woman in my family to wear it. I definitely want to have pieces made from the dress for my sister, aunts, and cousins – maybe after the last grandchild gets married I will do it.
It’s a beautiful way to incorporate a sentimental dress if you aren’t going to wear it. I’m thinking of 27 dresses right now and the moment that Catherine Heigl see’s her mom’s dress all cut up/ SOOOO different and is so hurt. So yes, to avoid incorporating a sentimental dress like that, feel free to have a gorgeous piece of jewelry made instead. Oh also, did I mention they’ve been featured in Vogue #LifeGoals #Girlboss
David and I are heading out the door this second to go and visit Charlottesville, VA! His best friend from med school and his wife are in their residency there so we plan on hanging with them, visiting the wineries, and maybe even seeing Theo James, I mean Allegiant. haha
Have a great weekend and thank you SO MUCH for reading!
