This week was one for the books. Anytime David gets off is a “do a happy dance/ shake ya bonbons” kind of week. We had planned to go back to the Old Edwards Inn since we loved it so much when we visited in January. But last minute we decided to go somewhere we’ve never been: Winston-Salem. I was kind of skeptical at first but it ended up being very cute, quaint, and impressive. One of the wineries truly took me back to Italy. The impromptu, unplanned element definitely added a level of mystery and excitement too.
I am LOVING getting Christmas cards. It’s always so fun to see everyone’s “Christmas card picture” Wouldn’t it have been weird to be twenty something twenty years ago (i.e. before facebook) – that ONE Christmas card would have been the ONLY picture you saw of your college friends or cousin that lives across the country. Anyway…… I digress…
This weekend I’m heading to Nashville for a friends wedding. This is the same weekend that Haley Crosby got married last year and it’s such a special time to gather friends and family to say “I do.”
Happy Friday, and have a wonderful weekend!

Adorable–I love your round up! Winston-Salem sounds like it was wonderfully charming. I’m glad that it pleasantly surprised you. Merry Christmas, and enjoy your time with friends and family!
