a trip to downtown Charlotte for my first visit to Ikea!
This week was a great one and I’m looking forward to a project-heavy weekend painting my new kitchen table and putting together my chairs I got from Ikea! People said it was quite a store and I was not disappointed. It amazed me how big the facility was and I loved all the different kitchens and furniture – and of course the prices.
When I got back last night from Charlotte, Nilla had gotten out…… again. She had even been kenneled and we have a gate, but this dog is truly Houdini. I’m thinking of getting a “hunting cam” to film how she is doing it (not that I’ll ever giver her another chance). We are so so so thankful to have her home. This was extreme, but I ended up calling 911 and the police found her! We are very grateful to the Chapel Hill police department for bringing Nilla home! In the 3 times she’s gotten out, I’ve been more upset than I’ve ever been in my life. Nilla holds my heart in the palm of her paw.
Have a wonderful fall football filled weekend!! And thank you so much for reading 🙂 Cheers to Friday and pets everywhere.
