Well I think it’s safe to say I like Christmas trees since I somehow worked ours in to almost every picture. But who doesn’t? There are literally a million reasons to love Christmas. 1) everyone is in the “holiday spirit” and smiles a little easier; 2) everyone stops working, goes home, and spends time with family; 3) the smell of a Christmas tree makes me feel like a kid, specifically 6th grade when all I wanted to do was hang out with my friends and maybe get a new trapper keeper or beanbag chair (I stopped in my tracks when I saw this one
while Christmas shopping); 4) the lights are just pretty – I LOVE the lights; 5) at some point – maybe Christmas eve, or maybe on Christmas day, the world stops, and everyone collectively thinks about the birth of Jesus Christ. To think about that miracle on its own is special. But to know you’re doing it at the same time as all other Christians in the world is so powerful. It’s the true meaning of Christmas!
I hope you have a wonderful weekend and thanks so much for reading!
