This week truly felt like spring in Chapel Hill. All the snow has melted, the weather has been perfect, the days are filled with sunshine for a longer amount of time, and all the students are gone for spring break. Also, the SEC tournament was on in our house which always signifies spring break to me. Because I was on the pom squad, I can remember hoping the games would go one way or the other, not based on my love for the bulldogs, but based on what my spring break plans were for that year. haha Is that terrible? Yes, that’s terrible.
Some people give me grief about sometimes cheering for Ole Miss since I went to MSU. But if you could have seen David during and after that heartbreaking Ole Miss basketball loss last night – you would cheer for the Rebels too, no matter how much devotion you had to your team. So let me go on record and say that I will forever and always be a bulldog fan, but as long as they aren’t playing Ole Miss, I’ll cheer for the Rebels too.
This weekend David and I are flying to New York City! I am SO hopeful I will make him fall in love with it so we can go back together. If you have know of great restaurants, sights, or things to do in the city please share them with me!
Happy Friday and have a wonderful weekend!
