daffodils from our front yard, pink lemonade, and flipping though the newest J.crew magazine full of warm weather wear
a late afternoon walk around campus with David and Nilla, and hearing the girls choir sing – I WISH I could sing… even in the shower – nope!
having Sushi at home for the first time. I will forever be grateful to my boss at MTV who basically forced sushi down my throat at Katsuya in Santa Monica. I’ve been a believer ever since…

When I rode by those trees and remembered seeing them last year, I couldn’t get over the fact that we’ve lived here for almost a year. How has the time gone that quickly? And seriously how did I become the lady that’s saying: “oh it just flies by! gets quicker and quicker every year!” But it’s totally true and here we are.
While we were watching march madness David referred to UNC as ‘we’ which just reinforced the one year realization. I still can’t believe we matched here. I’m so thankful for it all. I had no idea what to expect from Chapel Hill since I had never even visited when he read UNC off of that letter while on stage, but the people I have met here (and let’s be honest – how pretty it is) have made the move so wonderful. I’m itching to move into our house in August.
This weekend we are having a baby shower for one of the residents in David’s class, celebrating a friend’s birthday, and the rest is wide open. It’s also supposed to rain so I see lots of reading and House of Cards in my near future.
Thanks for reading and have a great weekend.
