getting out my fall clothes including my favorite leopard coat
walking past these mums and pumpkins every time I leave the house
treating myself to an olivia pope style snack while watching the season finale of scandal
the leaves in our neighborhood changing to the most beautiful oranges and reds
this smiley pup following me wherever I go
Happy Friday, friends! I wish I had a picture of that Mackenzie Childs bowl full of candy because one of my favorite moments from the week was David catching some 15 year old trick-or-treaters cleaning us out of the rest of our candy. He walked up just as they were dumping the entire bowl in their bags despite our “take one” sign. hahaha They were so scared and it was hilarious to me.
Halloween was so fun! We walked to a friends house and watched all the trick-or-treaters come and go. It was adorable to see all the little princesses and football players and super heros. Then last night I feel like we really kicked off the Christmas season with the Homewood Christmas open house. All the shops opened their doors, lit their Christmas candles, and served apps and wine. It made me SO excited to decorate for Christmas – but also made me realize I still need to actually decorate our HOUSE. haha
Tonight David and I are having a date night and then we have NO PLANS for the weekend and David is off 🙂 Isn’t that the best? I hope you have a gorgeous fall weekend and thank you so much for reading!
