Friday favorites is so good to to because it really makes me stop and realize the best things about the week. Talking to someone about Friday’s Favorites they said they try and do that at the end of every day as they are going to sleep – name the best parts from the day. I haven’t done that yet but I do think it’s a novel thought and worth mentioning.
Gigi’s bachelorette party was nothing short of perfect and so much fun. It was great to just see my best friend and meet her best friends as well. I was honored to be in the group of some of the most fun, sweet, and gorgeous gals around. We brunched, had room service, laid by the pool, showered Gigi with gifts, swam in the ocean, all while drinking pink champagne. It was such an amazing girls trip and I can’t wait to go back to California for her wedding next month!
My birthday was a low key and uneventful one – exactly how I wanted it. Still, it was surprising, and is every year, how I spend my whole day on the phone on a birthday from the calls and texts. Every year I think people will forget or I’m “too old” for anyone to care. And then the calls and texts make it SO much fun. SO thank you for all the birthday wishes! I had lunch with my sister and then David and I walked to Gianmarcos and had pasta, wine, and he gave me a David Yurman bracelet. I know that jewelry isn’t everything and it’s just a piece of metal – but I LOVE wearing these everyday and remembering the meaning behind each one. Plus they really kick up any outfit. hahah
What are you up to this weekend? David is OFF and his boards that he took Monday are OVER so we are definitely going to enjoy the weekend. Hope you have a relaxing one, friends! And thank you so much for reading! It means so much 🙂
