Hey Friday, you always look so good. Welcome to the weekend, y’all! I have been LOVING this fall weather we’ve been having and making it a mandatory daily routine to take Nilla for a walk on Franklin street. It kind of kills me to think that we might not live here come next July. I feel so settled and happy here, but I know that whatever His plan is will be what’s best. And really, I think at the end of the day it’s not so much Chapel Hill that I love and feels like home, it’s time spent with David and Nilla – and I know I’ll be with them no matter where we end up!
I actually picked those berries off a neighborhood tree, is that legal? I don’t think so. But they are so pretty and so free and I’ve loved seeing them when I walk throughout the house. I don’t get too crazy with fall decor but have loved the little touches… like the bowl of candy corn, and those gold pumpkins from Gigi. She let me have them when she made the move to NYC since most people don’t have a big attic to store holiday decor 🙂
This weekend is David’s birthday so I’m spending today wrapping some gifts and getting ready to go to a concert tomorrow! What are your weekend plans? Hope it’s a great one filled with all things fall since it’s mid October!
Thank you so much for reading 🙂
