Raise your hand if you miss living in a sorority house and borrowing clothes – meeeeeeee. I lived in a sorority house for 3 years in college and then lived with the same girl (who I shared clothes with) all through law school. It was great. There’s always a little anxiety wearing something that isn’t yours, but barring an impromptu pool party the clothes are safe with me.
I wore this to the RewardStyle party last Sunday and it made me feel like I was back in a Sorority since I borrowed everything. It’s kind of the perfect dress for me because 1)it’s like a tent, but still flattering 2) it has the awe effect of wearing a floor length dress, but you never trip on it because it’s higher in the front 3) it’s white and gold… I love white and gold 4) you can eat whatever you want because it just shows your back… but more than anything else it just makes me feel good and that’s always what makes any outfit perfect – if it makes you feel good.
I’m so glad I have good enough friends in Chapel Hill that I can share clothes with them. My own little sorority.. haha. On another note, I’m so ready for fall and I’m so ready for David to be done with these 30 hour shifts. Nilla and I were alone last night and are alone this morning. Between me taking trips and David on 30 hour shifts I feel like I’ve seen him for ten minutes in the last month. Booooo Tonight I’m going to a Belk event in Raleigh with Amy and then hanging with David at HOME.
Thank you so much for reading and have a great day!
