Good morning! How was everyone’s Father’s Day weekend? We had a Father’s Day lunch after church in Mississippi with my whole family and it was so fun.
We moved out of our home in Chapel Hill on Saturday – I cried. As exciting as it is to be done with residency and on to another chapter of life, I know I’ll look back on these years so fondly.
Anyway…. my dad flew up to help us move and then he and I drove 12 hours back to Mississippi with a car packed to the brim and Nilla on the floorboard. As daunting as that sounds it was actually painless, enjoyable and a perfect way to spend some quality time with dad on Father’s Day weekend!
David still has another week of work so he’s staying with a friend in Chapel Hill and I opted to be a “back home baller” for 1 week with my parents in Starkville, Mississippi. He and I will live in my sisters basement for a week next week. Haha these two weeks are going to be entertaining for sure.
This was what I wore the first day of our trip in Rivera Maya – down under the boarder. I love the tassels on the sleeves of this shirt and these shorts are so good I bought them twice! Thank you so much for reading!
