My favorite type of look, by far, is one that is classic and lady-like chic. As I’ve gotten older I’ve developed such an appreciation for something that is not only going to last for years quality-wise, but also style-wise. Because let’s face it… shopping is expensive. The problem though, is that when most girls realize the true value of quality, they are 28, in the working world, and making money. Not unemployed and living on a resident’s salary – (I’ve officially started the job search!)
So imagine my excitement when I found this camel blazer (that I had previously tried on in J. Crew twice) at a thrift shop in Chapel Hill for $12 dollars! Definitely one of those “forever finds.” I was all too eager to make it to the checkout counter and claim my prize.
But if you ARE working, this blazer definitely falls into the “classic lady-like chic” category and could be paired with a black silk shirt for work or a white v-neck with jeans for play, and will withstand the test of time in both categories of quality and style.
Hope you had a great Memorial Day! Even though David worked all weekend I got to hang out with Amy all day yesterday and play in Chapel Hill which made for a great holiday. Enjoy the short work week and thanks for reading!
