It seems like all is right in the world now that the temperatures are back to freezing here in Chapel Hill – after all, it’s January and I’m eager to use our fire pit and our gas logs. There’s something pretty magical about the start of a new year. A fresh start, a clean slate, and while I do, along with the rest of the globe have goals of a better body and better eating habits, I also have goals on a deeper level. The most important of which is to be more intentional with my time.
Everyone says it goes by so quickly, and I couldn’t agree more. So this year I’m resolving to spend it meaningfully – saying “no” more often and saying “yes” to books, movies, trips, friendships, letters and phone calls.
Let’s do this, 2016!
