I truly think your outfit can alter your mood and this long white draped waistcoat from Zara had me feeling all kinds of chic for our brunch at Laduree in NYC. I love this ivory color and how the collar lays. It looks very similar to the camel one from the Nordstrom sale that I missed out on. I bought this one immediately when I saw it – live and learn! Its a great pre-fall piece since it can be worn like this over a tank or layered over long-sleeved shirts or sweaters. I know I’ll be wearing it ALL fall.
This weekend was full of friends with a baby shower on Saturday and a birthday party at Steel String Friday night. Sunday was one of the best days… going to church with David, then grabbing BLTs (gimmie ALL the Bacon) from Merritts and having a lazy Sunday. We also recently joined and met with our small group which we were overdue on. Sunday night was a viewing party of Miss America with David, Nilla and I three deep on the couch and a group chat with all my girl cousins. Their commentary killed me. I love my family. I know I don’t talk about them a lot on here but they are awesome and I wish I saw them all more. My sweet sister is the one who snapped these pics on our last morning in the city. Hope you had a great weekend and thank you so much for reading!
