One of the best parts about moving and buying our first home so far has been discovering all the different plants we have in our yard. We moved in this summer so we’ve gotten to see fall, winter, and now are front row for spring. If you follow on Instastories y’all know how excited I was about my Japanese Maple in the backyard. The bright pink blossoms took my breath away every time I looked outside. The cherry blossoms in front have the prettiest pink petals as well that now scatter all over our yard. I like to think it’s mother nature’s confetti. haha
This Anthropologie dress is one of my all time favorite dresses. It’s actually lined and bunches at your stomach (aka you can eat a lot at dinner) Also, it’s half past your knee and half mid-thigh, the definition of mixing high and low! haha. I love the cut, the neutral print and think it’s perfect for a summer dinner on the water. I wore this on our anniversary in Emerald Isle and it was super comfy and made me feel va-va voom but also appropriate. After dinner we walked down by the pier to watch the sunset.
This weekend was so much fun. David and I went to Friday’s on the Front porch, had a sushi date, and caught up on our current shows: Veep and Game of Thrones. Y’all, Veep is absolutely hysterical and I can’t get enough!
I know it’s Monday but this weekend is 4th of July! Let’s fill up our coffee cups and let the countdown begin! Thank you so much for reading!
