Happy Friday, y’all! Welcome to the weekend. This week was such a good one since it started out in Charleston. I honestly think Charleston is my favorite city in America – David would agree that that is SO white girl basic, but honestly, it’s just SO CUTE, CHARMING, and UPLIFTING. I LOVE walking the streets, people watching and “house hunting” (pretending, of course). David and I haven’t decided where to go for our 5 year anniversary in May yet and I might rally for Charleston again. haha The trip was great, too, because I got to hang out with bloggers that I’ve known forever via the world wide web, but never met in person. I think that’s been the best part about blogging is the people I’ve met and friendships I’ve made along the way… that’s probably all of life though, right? The people make the place and the journey 🙂
David and I had a low key Valentine’s day and went to Botega for dinner. I got there at 5:00 to grab a table and we ended up with one of the best seats in the house. Afterwards, we came home, ate some Reese’s, drank some champagne, and watched 500 days of summer – a movie neither of us had seen. It was a great Valentines. I hope no matter what you did or who you were with your day was a little sweeter than normal. With the events of Florida recently, I think we could use a few more days that celebrate love.
This weekend David is OFF and I am HOME for the first time in 3 weekends. So I’m really excited about it! We have some friends coming in town and are planning to have a low key weekend. I hope yours is a relaxing one and thank you, as always, for reading this blog. Cheers, y’all!
