I love the changing of seasons… hence one of the reasons for the name of this blog. It’s just one of the most simple pleasures of life. With spring comes a fresh start, cleaning, and even more beautiful flowers. I can’t wait to start sitting outside more and have also been enjoying the longer days that come with daylight savings time. Goodbye winter, hello spring.
you can use the microwave: cut spaghetti squash in half and place in bowl face side up with 3/4 cup water then microwave for 12 minutes.
or Oven: cut spaghetti squash in half and place face down in a cooking pan. Fill the pan about 1/4 full with water and let bake on 350 for 35 minutes. (this is what we did)
After it has cooked, slide a fork across the inside part of the spaghetti squash, turning it into noodles. Keep scraping until you have the desired amount of noodles. (This sounds weird but once you start it is easy and fun)
add desired sauce and side salad ingredients – we did spinach, almonds, blue cheese and vinaigrette
