I’m not really a “trendy” person. To be honest it’s just too expensive to buy in to every trend and I’m left with a pile of clothes that are “out.” Have y’all seen the Netflix documentary Minimalist? It talks about how the clothing industry wants you to think you are out of style so that you will constantly buy. For me, it’s not about the “new” or “trendy” but putting together a wardrobe that makes me excited – no matter what name or price is on the tag.
With that being said, embroidery is one “trend” that I have been loving. I think this one will be around for a while and I think it’s pretty and flattering (unlike culottes on me). I’ve linked 5 of my favorite embroidery tops at the bottom that are all under $50 including this one that I love. These jeans and shoes from Pink Possum boutique arrived this weekend and I’m obsessed. They are my new “go-to” dark skinny jeans and I think these wedges are comfortable and super cute. I know I’ll be wearing them for all the warmer days to come.
I’m headed to Birmingham (again) for some (hopefully) progressive moves in the housing department. Thank you so much for reading and bring on the coffee!
