Brunch is the best meal of the day. The waffles, the eggs, the bacon, that choice between coffee or diet coke….mmmmmmm. If only all decisions were that easy. Brunch is one of my favorite meals to host as well because the food is SO easy to make so there’s really no pressure. Amy and I hosted a girls get together at her house the other weekend and the spode Christmas china, tall candles, and simple fresh greenery made the perfect setting for a Christmas brunch! We cooked these gingerbread waffles and added brunch necessities: champagne, diet coke, donuts, berries, and coffee. We went all-out and wore these Adrianna Papell sparkle dresses too because, why not? It’s the holidays! Sparkle is always appropriate during the holidays 🙂
Last year my mom sent me these spode wine glasses and it was honestly one of the best random packages I’ve ever received. Being away from family because of David’s job, especially on Christmas, is kind of hard. I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t. But Christmas spode and a fabulous brunch with great girlfriends really does ease any family withdraws. It’s WILD to think that next Christmas we will be in Birmingham! We are heading to Jackson for family Christmas on the 28th. Until then I’ll just dream of these sparkle dresses and champagne. Cheers, friends! And Merry Christmas!
isn’t Amy’s dog, Bella, the cutest!?
