It has taken me forever (literally 26 years) to figure out that what looks good on other people doesn’t necessarily look good on me. For a long time, I would see something on someone else, buy it, and not like the way it looked on me. I know that sounds so simple, but I am just now figuring out that everone’s closet is so personal because each piece makes that person feel a different way. This white cape was something I bought 3 years ago from a thrift store, and am still in love with it. It makes me feel ladylike but is loose, flowy and comfortable too.
and again, I can’t wear leather pants to work or church and I’m not wearing the heels to the grocery store. And since that’s all I do right now – church, grocery, and work, I’ll wear it on the blog!
